- Use Rounding to Estimate Sums and Difference
- Strategies for Multiplying and Dividing
- Next Level of Multiplication and Division
- Next Level of Fractions
- Units of Measure (Perimeter, Linear Measurement, Telling Time/Elapsed Time)
Reading/Language Arts:
- Vocabulary Acquisition
- Comprehension Strategies
- Text Analysis
- Language Conventions
- Writing Strategies
- Use of Context as an Independent Vocabulary Strategy
- Ability to refer to information in the text when asking and answering questions about texts that they have read
- Apply analysis strategies to determine the theme or central message of text
- Identify Subject, Verb Agreement and Verb Tenses, and use that knowledge to write and speak in correct, complete sentences
Social Studies:
- Geography
- Communities
- Landforms
- Manufacturing
Science:
- Life Science (Plants, Animals, Ecosystems)
- Earth Science (Solar System, Landforms, Weather, Water Cycle)
