Kindergarten

Throughout our student's Kindergarten year, we aim to have them successfully complete the following: 

Reading/Language Arts Goals:

• Identify 26 uppercase and lowercase letters
• Form 26 uppercase and lowercase letters
• Recognize 26 letter names and their sounds
• Read common high frequency words
• Recognize and produce rhyming words 

Math Goals:

• Identify numbers to 30 or higher
• Count to 100 by 1s and 10s
• Identify 2D and 3D shapes
• Identify if a shape is flat or solid
• Print numbers to 100
• Compare numbers to 10
• Add and subtract numbers to 10
• Count on from any given number
